These terms cover the PixieCut direct-download app, trial, license, and website. By using PixieCut, you agree to these terms.
Provider
PixieCut is provided by Alexander Graf e.U., registered sole proprietor, registered in Austria with registry court Landesgericht Innsbruck, with business address at Gabelsbergerstraße 2b, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria.
License
PixieCut is sold as a €25 + VAT where applicable one-time license with minor and patch updates included. The license can be active on up to two Macs you personally use, or on Macs owned by your organization when purchased for that organization. Activation, validation, and device limits are handled by Amore.
Trial and updates
The trial is provided as a direct download and allows 25 successfully applied images. The trial count is stored locally in your Mac Keychain and can be used offline. This local enforcement can be reset by a determined user because Amore does not provide server-side usage metering for this allowance. App updates are delivered through Sparkle with Amore-hosted app archives and appcast metadata. Release notes are part of the update feed and app distribution flow rather than a separate website changelog.
Offline use
Registered use can continue from cached Amore validation during the configured 7-day grace period when network validation is unavailable. Cached signed validation data is stored locally on your Mac by Amore.
Refunds and taxes
Stripe Managed Payments handles checkout, VAT where applicable, invoices, disputes, and refund processing for the Amore checkout. If a purchase or license does not work as expected, contact support with your order details.
Responsibility for files
PixieCut is designed around staged candidates, previews, backups, and revert support. You remain responsible for keeping backups of important original files and for checking that output settings match your needs before applying a batch.
